Head of Finance

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to lead our Finance team in Bradford. This role is 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday. Offering an annual salary of £60,000 to £67,500, with excellent benefits such as six weeks holiday (plus Bank).

As the Head of Finance, you will influence and manage the strategic development , future direction and operation of the finance function within the organisation and drive efficiency through the use of technology . You will lead , support and motivate the team to deliver an effective and highly regarded service.

• Demonstrable experience and evidence of success of managing a complex finance function in an SME, housing or third sector setting
• Extensive accountancy experience at a senior level
• Significant knowledge and experience of strategic financial planning and control
• Line management experience
  
  Experience and understanding of the legal compliance requirements of finance - reporting, audit, tax including VAT, funders monitoring, insurance, loan covenants and contracts (including leases).
• Relevant finance or business professional qualification and evidence of continuous professional development in a financial management role
