Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant in the Retail industry, based in Bradford, you'll be responsible for overseeing financial processes and providing key insights to support decision-making. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business.

• Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Support the accounting team with reconciliation tasks and financial audits.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Experience managing large datasets across multi-site or branch operations.
• Strong experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Confidence with financial systems and software.

• Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position in the Retail sector.
• Located in Bradford Area.
