View / ApplyJOB DESCRIPTION A growing and successful manufacturing business in Bradford is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CIMA Accountant who enjoys combining strong financial control with commercial insight in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of the finance function, lead a small team and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary

Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

Monitoring manufacturing costs, margins and operational performance

Developing and enhancing financial reporting and KPI analysis

Supporting senior management with commercial and strategic decision-making

Managing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining robust financial controls

Leading and developing a finance team of four Managing the year-end audit process and acting as the key point of contact for external auditors

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processes

Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

CIMA qualification (or equivalent ACCA/ACA)
Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment

Strong management accounting and financial control experience

Experience managing and developing finance staff

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong ERP and Excel skills

The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
