MRICS/FRICS Disposals Surveyor | Bradford Council | £450pd Inside IR35

I’m recruiting an experienced Disposals Surveyor to join Bradford Council on an initial 3-month contract, expected to extend.

This is predominantly a property disposals role, taking responsibility for a varied freehold disposal caseload from inception through to completion.

£450 per day – Inside IR35
Bradford – hybrid/flexible working
Office attendance Thursdays only, plus site visits/in-person meetings where required
Initial 3 months – expected to extend

You’ll be responsible for:

Freehold property disposals from strategy through to completion
Valuation advice and disposal recommendations
Negotiations with purchasers, developers and agents
Securing best consideration and working within Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972
Liaising with Legal Services, external solicitors and property agents
Reviewing title documents, plans and planning information
Advising on development potential, commercial considerations and disposal strategy
We’re looking for an MRICS or FRICS qualified Surveyor with strong experience across disposals, valuation and estates management. Local authority/public-sector experience would be highly beneficial.

This should suit somebody who can pick up an active disposals caseload quickly, work autonomously and drive transactions through to completion
