Registered Manager - Children's Residential Service - Bradford
Are you an experienced and compassionate leader seeking a highly impactful role within the residential care and education sector? An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage a new, single-bed children's home designed for a young person with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for launching and overseeing this specialised service, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and person-centred environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the Launch:
Oversee the comprehensive setup and operational initiation of this children's residential service in the region. - Deliver Tailored Care:
Develop and implement specialised care plans that address the individual needs of the young person, ensuring adherence to all safeguarding regulations. - Build an Expert Team:
Recruit, lead, and develop a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional, child-centric support. - Operational Management:
Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and coordinating referrals to ensure smooth service delivery. - Ensure Compliance and Safety:
Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and uphold the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and therapeutic support. - Holistic Support:
Collaborate with families, health professionals, and local authorities to create a comprehensive support network for the young person.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children's residential care setting.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Competitive salary of up to £70,000.
- Generous signing bonus of £5,000 to support relocation or joining costs.
