Key responsibilities
  • Work primarily within the Blood Transfusion department, with some rotational responsibilities across Haematology.
  • Participate in a 24/7 service utilising a 37.5 hour continuous process pattern (CPP) shift system.
  • Maintain and operate specialised equipment, including Sysmex XN 3000, ACL TOP 550s, Alifax Test1 analysers, Ortho Vision 2, and the Blood Track electronic issue system.
Qualifications and experience
  • Solid working knowledge and experience in Blood Transfusion.
  • Practical competence and solid scientific foundation; strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
