Job Overview

We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join our Hospice Care at Home Overnight Service in Bradford & Airedale and the surrounding areas.

The role involves delivering one-to-one overnight palliative care to patients in their own homes across Bradford & Airedale and surrounding areas. You will support patients with life-limiting illnesses and provide emotional support to their families, working independently in line with care plans and carrying out personal care, symptom monitoring, medication support, accurate record keeping, and compassionate end-of-life care.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.
