Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for providing hospital services for the people of Bradford and communities across Yorkshire. Salary: £23,615 per annum (pro‑rata, yearly).
Grade: NHS AfC Band 2.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated ward clerk to join our dynamic and forward‑thinking team at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will work in our Children and Young Peoples unit.
Part‑time (34.5 hours per week) – days and evenings up to 10pm including weekends. Shifts vary: short shifts (7.5 hours) x18 per month or long shifts (11.5 hours) x12 per month.
The role involves providing a range of clerical duties to support the team in delivering a high‑quality service.
Experience- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in a secretarial/administrative role
- Experience of working in health service
- Knowledge/experience of EPR
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Literate and numerate
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Good general education
