This is an exciting opportunity to work across the NIHR ARC Yorkshire & Humber (YH ARC), West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) and the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Academy (IA) to lead knowledge mobilisation and transformation projects.
This role is hosted by Bradford Teaching Hospitals and works in partnership with the WY ICB, the YH ARC and the Improvement Academy leadership teams to engage health and care partners, academics, policy partners, and other key stakeholders across the region.
The successful candidate will capture and communicate the needs of local decision makers in the health and care system and work with the YH ARC and the Improvement Academy (IA) to identify existing evidence-based solutions and models of care, and support them into practice with practitioners and service users. The post holder will work at strategic level, providing senior level knowledge transfer leadership within the region to support development and delivery of national and local work priorities.
KeyElements of the Role
- Creating and mobilising the Enhanced Paediatric Nursing Skills (EPNS) programme for clinical nurses, ensuring alignment with clinical standards.
- Leading IA transformation work plans, including developing and integrating a Yorkshire & Humber Evidence Hub.
- Managing own workload and duties across projects, including stakeholder engagement, developing engaging and effective knowledge mobilisation events and communication resources, and project management.
- Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-organisational projects and develop effective, productive working relationships.
- Collaborate with knowledge mobilisation specialists in Humber, North Yorkshire ICB, and South Yorkshire ICB.
- Travel across the Yorkshire and Humber region as required.
- Significant and relevant experience of leading multi-disciplinary, multi-organisational projects.
- Effective and productive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Registered healthcare professional in a relevant speciality aligned with the EPNS programme (e.g., children's nurse, paediatric nurse, health visiting, midwife) to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Excellent project management, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for research and using evidence to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities.
