The role sits in the Respiratory/Lung Cancer multidisciplinary team to implement the timed optimal pathway for suspected lung cancer, ensuring rapid definitive diagnosis by day 28.
The post holder will provide friendly non-clinical support, information to patients and families, and coordinate referrals and administrative tasks for clinicians.
