Job summary

Are you an experienced Sonographer looking to pick up extra shifts during the week? Medicare are currently looking for Sonographers to work weekends completing obstetric ultrasound scans for our client in the United Kingdom. We offer Flexible Contracts that allow our candidates to choose their preferred working days, hours and locality which allows them to work around their schedule. Multiple positions available!

• To perform obstetric scans in an NHS hospital setting in order to assist with reducing backlogs
• To provide a high standard of work ensuring that the ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently

• To carry out obstetric ultra sound Scans and report independently delivering a high standard of work
• To promote a multi disciplinary approach to patient care within the trust, ensuing a patient centred approach to care
• MUST have CASE accredited Qualification
• MUST have a valid Downs Syndrome Screening Quality Assurance Support Service (DQASS) identification number.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of working in the NHS completing obstetric ultrasound scans.

• Must have completed a postgraduate certificate or a postgraduate diploma in medical or clinical ultrasound
