The Role

As an Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant for responsible for planning, designing, and implementing Oracle Cloud HCM solutions to various client requirements whilst also ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. They coordinate between teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with business partners and HR teams to gather, document, and analyze requirements, identifying solutions between client needs and Oracle HCM Cloud features.
  • Configure various Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and Absence Management) to deliver effective solutions for business requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, managing expectations and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Integration Consultants and testers.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle HCM advancements and recommend continuous improvements and enhancements to optimize the client's use of the system.
  • Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and participate in sprint planning.
  • Assist in pre‑sales activities via demos and offering expert advice.
Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience:
  • A strong understanding of, and proven skills in configuration within Global HR, Payroll and Absence Management.
  • Experience in completing at least one full project life‑cycle engagement in Oracle HCM delivering Oracle Global HR, Payroll and Absence Management.
  • Demonstrates persistence in driving tasks to completion and applies rigorous testing to ensure robust, high‑quality solutions.
  • Accurately estimates timelines and delivers work within agreed schedules.
  • Produces clear, comprehensive documentation and actively shares knowledge to support team collaboration.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • In depth knowledge of the hire‑to‑retire process, self‑service applications, Journeys, and other Core HR processes.
  • Experience in Payroll and Absence Management with UK Statutory and non‑Statutory Absences and Payroll Interactions.
  • Experience in UK regulations, pre and post payroll processes including RTI.
  • Experience with Redwood flows, Redwood Journeys, Guided Journeys and VB Studio.
  • Strong configuration skills in org structures, workforce structures, security, and workflow.
  • Able to lead the customer through the implementation, guiding the other team members and taking responsibility for the delivery of the module.
  • Experience in SQL, OTBI, BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and its applications.
  • Experience with any of the following:
    Redwood Helpdesk, Talent Management, Compensation, Recruitment.
