This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1 day in the office a week – Bradford/Leeds) Work type:
Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

The SAP team is part of the IT function and plays a key role in optimising and transforming our SAP applications and associated Enterprise Systems. We support business areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Capital Delivery and Asset Maintenance/Management. Our team consists of functional and technical consultants, along with support related roles in Project Management, Business Analysis and Service Management, the SAP Finance Principal Consultant will play a key role in the SAP Finance, Procurement & Projects team driving business change and being a subject matter expert for the technology within this space.

As our SAP Principal Consultant – Finance you will:
  • Partner closely with Finance and business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and operational requirements, translating them into clear, scalable functional and technical solutions that deliver tangible business value and support long-term growth.
  • Lead and manage finance system change initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering, process design, and solution development through to testing, stakeholder engagement, training, deployment, and post-implementation support, ensuring successful outcomes and user adoption.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes by proactively identifying opportunities to optimise workflows, increase automation, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve the overall user experience, helping the business maximise the value of its technology investments.
