This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week – Bradford/Leeds

We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Business Analyst to join the IT SAP team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.

The IT SAP team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
The SAP team is part of the IT function and plays a key role in optimising and transforming our SAP applications and associated Enterprise Systems. We support business areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Capital Delivery and Asset Maintenance/Management. Our team consists of functional and technical consultants, along with support related roles in Project Management, Business Analysis and Service Management, the SAP Business Analyst will play a key role in the SAP Business Analysis team driving business change and being a subject matter expert for business processes within this space.

As our SAP Business Analyst, you will:
- Lead Business Analysis activities across multiple change initiatives, delivering high-quality requirements specifications for our customers and within the SAP technology landscape.
- Translating business needs into specific requirements including UI design;
Data models;
Business process changes and Interface designs. - Apply best practice Requirements Engineering techniques, ensuring effective elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gather and define business requirements using a range of elicitation methods, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and collaborative sessions.
- Produce and maintain AS-IS and TO-BE business process models, conducting gap analysis to identify improvements and support transition planning.
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout project delivery.
- Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and meet agreed business requirements.
