Solution Designer
We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer to own the translation of client requirements into clear, implementable solutions. You will take early-stage, often “rough” concepts and shape them into fully defined functional solutions, including user flows, high-fidelity UI designs, and comprehensive requirements that development and testing teams can deliver against.
Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement: Gather and challenge requirements from clients and Product Management to ensure feasibility and alignment with platform capabilities.
- Solution Design: Translate business needs into end-to-end functional designs, defining system behavior, edge cases, and data interactions using bespoke artifacts where needed.
- UX/UI Design: Create user flows and produce high-fidelity UI designs that align with existing patterns while ensuring usability in complex, data-driven interfaces.
- Delivery Readiness: Collaborate with developers and testers to refine requirements, support estimation, and ensure features are “ready” for development.
- Requirement Management: Manage feedback cycles and incorporate technical feedback through to formal sign-off.
- Strong experience in Functional/Business Analysis or Solution Design roles.
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous or incomplete ideas into actionable functional designs.
- Proficiency with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar delivery and backlog tools.
- Desirable: Practical experience in UX/UI (high-fidelity mock-ups, design systems).
- Desirable: Hands-on experience with Energy or Commodity trading platforms.
- A mindset that balances user experience, functional correctness, and delivery practicality.
