Customer Success Architect

As a Customer Success Architect at Bytes, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers align technology strategy with business goals and maximise the value of their Microsoft investments.

Combining architecture, customer engagement and strategic influence, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape long-term roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Our Managed Services business continues to grow, and we're investing in a team that can provide strategic guidance long after the initial technology decision has been made.

Rather than focusing on project delivery, you'll own the bigger picture. You'll help customers understand where they are today, where they want to go, and how Microsoft technologies can support that journey.

Your work will directly influence customer success, retention, technology adoption, and long-term growth.

In your first 6-12 months, you'll:

• Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Create and own technical roadmaps across a portfolio of customers.
• Align technology strategy with customer business goals and future plans.
• Provide strategic guidance across Microsoft 365, Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical risk, complexity and architectural debt.
• Bring together delivery, support, commercial and specialist teams around a single customer vision.
• Help customers realise greater value from their technology investments.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes through additional services, solutions and strategic initiatives.

Success in this role comes from balancing technical credibility with strong customer engagement. You'll be comfortable leading strategic conversations, translating business challenges into technology roadmaps, and building trusted relationships that influence long-term decisions.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience in a Customer Success, Solution Architecture, Technical Consultancy or similar customer-facing role within an MSP, VAR or technology services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience assessing customer environments and creating strategic technology roadmaps.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders from technical teams through to senior leadership.
• Strong consultative, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience balancing technical, operational and commercial considerations to support customer success and growth.

Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 certifications, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty and Microsoft Applied Skills certifications would be advantageous. TOGAF certification is also desirable. Equivalent experience will be considered.
