SME Account Handler

Overview

An exciting opportunity with one of the UK’s leading independent insurance broking and risk management companies based in Bradford. They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their direct client team and service/retain an existing portfolio of clients.

• Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
• Handle premiums up to c £20,000
• Work with a broad range of clients, including Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
• Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
• Communicate with Underwriters daily and maintain good relationships
• Broking risks for new business and renewals
• Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
• Work closely with the Corporate Broking team
• Use the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms daily

Salary up to c £35k with a benefits package including 29 days holiday, pension, private medical, life assurance, hybrid working with 2 days from home, free on-site parking and support towards CII qualifications.
