The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and professional Insurance Account Handler to join their team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with accuracy and care. You’ll handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business opportunities while maintaining compliance and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
* Prepare and issue quotations, renewals, and policy documentation
* Negotiate competitive premiums and terms with insurers
* Handle client queries promptly and professionally
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures
* Maintain accurate records using Acturis and CRM systems
* Assist with claims handling and identify cross-selling opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 1 year experience in an insurance role (broker or insurer environment)
* Strong understanding of general insurance principles
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* High attention to detail and organisational ability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Acturis (essential)
* Customer-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team
