Job Description

The In‑House Commercial Solicitor will be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
• Advising group companies on commercial and legal risk
• Supporting procurement and operational teams with commercial advice
• Assisting in the creation and rollout of a contract playbook
• Managing stakeholder relationships across departments
• Supporting compliance with internal policies and governance
• Working closely with senior legal counsel and external advisors
• Contributing to legal process improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

The In‑House Commercial Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with 2‑4 PQE
• Experienced in drafting and advising on commercial agreements
• Able to assess and manage legal and commercial risk
• Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Adaptable and proactive, with a commercial mindset
