Conveyancing Legal Assistant

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to support its busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their fee-earning experience within a structured and supportive environment.

• Providing day-to-day support to the Team Leader and fee earners
• Assisting with elements of fee-earning work under supervision
• Opening files and preparing client care documentation
• Completing client questionnaires and onboarding documentation
• Handling routine client enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Managing matter start and completion data
• Supporting file progression to ensure matters move forward promptly
• Deputising for fee earners when required and escalating urgent issues appropriately

You will not hold your own caseload but will play a key role in ensuring transactions run smoothly and clients receive excellent service throughout.

• Previous experience in a conveyancing role
• Professional, confident and client-focused
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
