Airfreight Export Coordinator
Location: Bradford, BD4
Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30 Office Based
Salary: Up to £32,000
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder for an experienced Airfreight Export Coordinator to join their Bradford office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global logistics business with a strong international network, offering exposure to complex, multi-modal supply chains and a fast-paced export environment.
The RoleAs an Airfreight Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end air export shipments, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily airfreight export shipments from booking through to delivery
- Arranging airfreight bookings with carriers and overseas agents
- Preparing and checking export documentation
- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Liaising with customers, airlines, agents, and internal teams
- Coordinating collections, deliveries, and flight schedules
- Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving issues
- Providing accurate shipment updates and handling rate requests/quotations
- Maintaining accurate records within internal systems
- Supporting continuous improvement of export processes and service delivery
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in airfreight exports or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of export documentation and procedures
- Good understanding of customs processes and Incoterms (desirable)
- Experience working in a customer-facing logistics role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience across multi-modal transport (air/ocean) is an advantage
- Salary up to £32,000
- Monday to Friday working hours (09:00-17:30)
- Office-based role in Bradford
