Brook Street Recruitment is excited to be supporting a well-established and growing business in Bradford with the recruitment of a Purchasing Administrator.

The Role
  • Full time Perm position
  • Monday to Friday
  • Hours:

    8:30am- 5:00pm
  • Salary on offer: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

As a Purchasing Administrator, you will support the Purchasing Team in managing supplier communications, maintaining accurate purchase order information, and ensuring products more efficiently through the supply chain.

You will be responsible for:

  • Raising, updating and maintaining purchase orders on the internal system
  • Checking supplier order confirmations and accurately updating expected delivery dates
  • Monitoring open purchase orders and ensuring information remains up to date
  • Chasing suppliers for order updates, delivery schedules and outstanding confirmations
  • Liaising with UK and international suppliers via email and telephone
  • Maintaining accurate records of supplier updates and order status
  • Supporting the wider team with stock availability information and delivery schedules
  • Highlighting any risks, delays or supply issues and escalating where necessary
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers
About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and keen to learn.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous administration experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain or a related environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience managing purchase orders and supplier communications
  • Confidence working with data, systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive and team-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
