Road Freight Forwarder
Location:
Bradford
Salary:
Up to £37,000, depending on experience
Hours:
Monday to Friday, with a choice of 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
Are you an experienced Road Freight Forwarder looking for greater job security, genuine progression and a varied role within a growing business?
We are recruiting for an established, multisite logistics company that continues to expand across the UK. You will join a modern Bradford office and become part of a friendly, diverse workforce where your experience will be valued.
The company will consider candidates with either road freight import or export experience. You do not need to have experience in both.

- Managing European road freight import or export shipments from booking through to delivery
- Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and internal departments
- Preparing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Producing quotations and securing competitive transport rates
- Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delays or operational issues
- Providing regular updates and a high standard of customer service
- Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Previous experience in either road freight imports or exports
- Good knowledge of European road freight operations
- Confident communicating with customers, hauliers and overseas partners
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Commercially aware, proactive and comfortable solving problems
- Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
