Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Cleaning Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in various environments. As a Mobile Cleaning Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' spaces are immaculate, welcoming, and well-maintained.
The post holder will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff across multiple sites and will be required to provide cleaning cover during periods of staff sickness and annual leave. The role involves regular travel between sites.
Hours and CompensationHours:
Monday to Friday (adhoc weekends).
Working Hours:
30 hours per week. Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour. Shift Pattern:
Split shifts (early morning and late afternoon).
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective cleaning while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
- Drive to various locations as required, ensuring punctuality and reliability in attendance.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to meet client expectations consistently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Site inspections and management of cleaning operatives in post at locations across West Yorkshire.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive approach with the drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility in tasks.
- A full clean driving licence is essential.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within the cleaning or facilities management sector is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is essential for transportation duties.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
- Good physical fitness to perform cleaning duties and oversee site inspections.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, fostering teamwork and high performance.
