Cleaning Working Team Leader
Location:
Co-op Academy Grange, Haycliffe Lane, Bradford BD5 9ET
(on‑site).
Salary: £13.46 per hour.
Hours of work: 20 hours per week – 3:30pm – 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities- Supervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activity.
- Carry out bi‑weekly cleaning audits for internal improvements.
- Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels.
- Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided.
- Train cleaners in Amey way modules, including six monthly refreshers.
- Resolve any concerns or issues raised by team members or, if not able, escalated to your people manager.
- Carry out any reasonable requests directed by your line manager.
- Ensure H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
- Support local and business zero‑carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner where appropriate.
- Highly organised, responsible, efficient, and with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer‑service skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and support others.
- Cleaning experience (preferred).
