• Collect household, recycling and garden waste across the district
• Work as part of a supportive team to complete daily routes safely and efficiently
• Handle a range of containers including wheeled bins, sacks and commercial bins
• Help ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained
• Deliver a courteous, helpful service to residents and local businesses

This is an active, physical role - you’ll be on your feet and moving throughout the day - and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a tangible difference in keeping your community clean, safe and running smoothly.

We’re not just looking for experience - we’re looking for the right attitude. Experience in waste collection or similar outdoor work is helpful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors all year round
• Motivated, reliable, and team-focused with a strong work ethic.
• Safety-conscious and aware of your surroundings
• Professional and respectful when dealing with members of the public

• 4-day working week (Tuesday - Friday)
• Stable and secure Local Authority Employment
