Vehicle Graphics & Valeting Technician

To install Chapter 8 reflective vehicle markings, chevrons, safety decals and customer livery to a highly professional standard across a range of commercial vehicles. The role is responsible for ensuring vehicles meet company and customer specifications and are compliant with road safety visibility requirements. The role will also be required to support vehicle preparation and valeting activities to ensure vehicles attain the required standards prior to delivery.

Full training will be provided.

• Install Chapter 8 chevrons, reflective markings, conspicuity tape, customer livery and safety decals to customer vehicles.
• Measure, align and apply graphics accurately to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for vinyl and reflective material application.
• Remove existing graphics and adhesive residue when required.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet company and customer standards.
• Interpret vehicle graphics layouts, fitting instructions and customer specifications.
• Use specialist tools and materials safely and effectively.
• Identify and rectify installation defects where possible.
• Maintain stock levels of the respective vinyl kits for the different vehicles, as well as other reflective materials and any customer livery/ stickers, as required

• Wash and prepare vehicles prior to graphics installation.
• Carry out final cleans following installation.
• Prepare vehicles for customer handover.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the fleet.
• Complete basic vehicle condition inspections before and after work.

• Follow all workshop health and safety procedures.
• Use PPE where required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Handle chemicals, cleaning products and fitting equipment safely.
• Report hazards, incidents and equipment defects promptly.

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to travel between depots
• Experience fitting vehicle graphics, vinyl wraps or decals.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 vehicle marking requirements.
• Vehicle valeting or preparation experience.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles.
