A leading accountancy and tax advisory practice in Bradford is seeking a Corporate Tax Director (Advisory) to join its senior leadership team.

This is a highly strategic, client-facing role with a strong advisory focus
, offering responsibility for complex corporate tax projects, leadership of the corporate tax team, and a key role in business development and growth.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior CTA-qualified corporate tax professional looking to operate at Director level with a clear pathway to further progression.

The Role

As Corporate Tax Director
, you will:

Lead and deliver high-value corporate tax advisory engagements
, including restructures, acquisitions, disposals, and group planning

Provide authoritative technical corporate tax advice
, supported by legislation, case law, and HMRC guidance

Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across a diverse corporate client base

Take ownership of the commercial performance of the corporate tax advisory function

Identify, develop, and deliver tax planning opportunities for existing and new clients

Work closely with Partners on strategic advisory and growth initiatives

Lead business development
, including proposals, pitching, and networking

Build and maintain strong internal and external professional relationships

Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to Senior Managers and Managers

Liaise with HMRC on complex technical and advisory matters

Ensure robust risk management, governance, and quality control across all engagements

Contribute to the wider firm strategy and development of the tax advisory offering

Candidate Profile

CTA qualified (essential)

Extensive post-qualified experience in UK corporate tax advisory

Proven experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level

Strong technical expertise across corporate tax and related advisory areas

Commercially astute with strong judgement of risk

Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation

Confident advising at board and shareholder level
