Location:
Bradford / Hybrid Working (one to two office a week Bradford plus there will be the necessity to travel to our sites, our consultants offices or stakeholders across Yorkshire from time to time).
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday Friday.

Yorkshire Water are seeking a Planning and Land Manager to support the delivery of projects that will enhance the long-term resilience and sustainability of water supplies in the YW area. The total value of these four major projects in excess of £2.5Bn, having executive level stakeholder engagement within both Yorkshire Water and Ofwat.
Yorkshire Water (YW) are developing a number of major schemes, known as Strategic Resource Options (SRO). The Planning and Land Manager (Major Projects) will support the delivery of these business critical major projects. Reporting to the Senior Town Planning Manager, the role will; lead the town planning and land rights acquisition advice for these Strategic Resource Options; instruct and manage external consultants who provide the day to day delivery;
deliver good customer service & minimising risks and costs to the Business; lead the stakeholder engagement strategy for planning and land rights processes and relevant interfaces with other project team members.

As our Planning and Land Manager you will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of;
Strategic town planning advice (including Development Consent Orders/Town and Country Planning applications) to support the delivery of the SRO major projects to mitigate planning risk, delivering great customer service and meet the business strategy.
