To provide internal and external financial information and management guidance for the company to enhance profitability and use of assets to accomplish ROI (Return On Investment) and Div Op objectives.
Responsibilities- Prepare and or support the preparation of Borg Warner TTT financial statements.
- Support Bradford operating divisions in accounting/financial and general business issues. Key member of management team for strategy and direction.
- Analyse, evaluate, interpret, and make recommendations on financial and business results.
- Co‑ordinate, prepare and manage various projects within Borg Warner TTT organisation to meet subsidiary and corporate objectives.
- Prepare and manage the consolidation of financial plans, projections, and special forecasts.
- Develop and implement appropriate accounting policy and procedures for the facilities in support of TTT.
- Manage the credit risk and accounts receivable programmes.
- Provide input from a financial perspective on business decisions.
- Perform accounting controls over sub‑ledger accounts such as inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accruals and various other accruals.
- Provide specific financial advice as it relates to division activities including make/buy decisions.
- Manage and control the investment process and fixed assets.
- Project work as appropriate and other duties as assigned.
- Manage the preparation of year‑end reports (ARPs etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring all actions contribute positively to the Company's overriding objective of quality, by always complying with any relevant procedure that pursues this aim.
- Review and authorize ADP.
- Lead the team in a professional, open, and positive manner displaying consistency, honesty & integrity at all times.
- Ensure that all policies are applied in all aspects of the department's day to day operation.
- At the request of HR, assist with investigation, disciplinary and grievance hearings both within your department and externally to ensure a consistent and fair approach throughout the business.
- Contribute to the development of staff enabling them to meet targets and their potential.
- Develop and manage ways of monitoring training and development activities, linking this to the task analysis components.
- Ensure that all new employees are inducted into the department effectively, paying particular attention to Health & Safety / Hygiene requirements.
Upholding of health and safety standards, including timely reaction to all health and safety issues.
Risk Management- Responsible for working in compliance with Borg Warner's policies and procedures to identify and record issues relating to the management of risk.
