An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a dynamic healthcare provider delivering clinical pharmacy and prescribing support to GP practices and NHS partners.
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, leading teams, managing performance and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality services.
This full-time role offers hybrid working options (3 days office, 2 days remote), a salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 and benefits.
Candidates with relevant management experience in wider care settings, such as nursing or care homes, will also be considered.
You will be responsible for:- Overseeing the day-to-day running of clinical and non-clinical operations.
- Managing, supporting and developing teams to maintain effective service delivery.
- Ensuring services operate to appropriate quality, compliance and governance standards.
- Setting, monitoring and reviewing KPIs to assess operational and team performance.
- Using operational data and feedback to identify improvements and enhance service delivery.
- Building effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
- Supporting workforce planning, staff performance and ongoing team development.
- Contributing to operational planning, service development and business growth.
- Reviewing and auditing services to ensure required standards and best practice are maintained.
- Previously worked as a Pharmacy Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Practice Manager, Service Delivery Manager or in a similar role.
- Experience working with KPIs, including an understanding of relevant performance measures and previous results against them.
- Strong team leadership and people management experience.
- Solid understanding of primary care structures, PCNs (Primary Care Networks).
- Experience with in pharmaceutical, pharmacy, primary healthcare or wider healthcare/care-based settings is highly desirable.
- Have experience using performance data and reporting to monitor results and support service improvements.
- Monday - Friday: 9am to 6pm
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
