This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced safety leader to join our Safety & Environment team as Head of Safety Management
.

Leading a team of Safety Managers and specialist safety professionals, you'll provide strategic leadership and expert advice across the business, helping to create a positive, learning-focused culture where people go home safe every day.

You'll work closely with senior leaders to drive safety performance, support investigations and continually improve our Safety Management System.

• Is an experienced health and safety leader with a strong operational background.
• Holds a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
• Can influence, challenge and inspire at all levels.
• Has experience leading safety improvement programmes.
• Is passionate about developing people and building a strong safety culture.

• Flexible location based on the GWR Network, regular travel expected. Flexible working considered.

37 hour working week – Monday to Friday
