Full time

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

The Company has been trading for over 30 years and has built up an excellent reputation for producing a high standard of workmanship for commercial main contractors & private customers alike. Due to our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity to add an additional draughts person to join our team.

The right candidate will have strong knowledge and experience of AutoCAD 2D & a proven track record of working within the fabrication industry. We are looking for a hardworking individual who can work well as part of a team and also work independently. The candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Experience of producing manufacturing drawings for the steel fabrication industry is essential.

We also use Advance steel 3D detailing software, knowledge of this is advantageous but not essential.

• Producing detailed manufacturing fabrication drawings from project designs within the required timescales.
• Liaising with architects, engineers and site teams throughout the design process.
• Producing material, component & bolt lists for procurement.
• Aiding the manufacturing and site installation team to fully understand the fabrication drawings and answer queries as they arise.

Further training to progress & develop within the company will be offered to the right candidate. I.e. Advance steel training, project management etc.
