Purchasing Manager

. From bespoke projects to large-scale rollouts, we design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality signage solutions for major clients across multiple sectors. Our in-house model gives us control, flexibility, and speed—and purchasing plays a critical role in that success.

We are seeking an experienced
Purchasing Manager
to lead and develop our procurement function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, cost control, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing across our in-house production operation.

You will work closely with production, planning, engineering, and project teams to support both day-to-day manufacturing and bespoke project requirements.

• Lead and implement the company’s purchasing and procurement strategy
• Manage sourcing of raw materials, components, consumables, and subcontract services
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and margin improvement initiatives
• Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, terms, and rebates
• Ensure continuity of supply and manage supplier risk
• Oversee stock control, forecasting, and lead times to support production schedules
• Develop strong supplier relationships and performance management frameworks
• Improve purchasing processes, systems, and reporting

• Proven senior procurement experience within a
  manufacturing environment
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Experience sourcing technical or engineered components
• Confident working with ERP / MRP systems
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• Experience with in signage, fabrication, engineering, electronics, or related sectors
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, LEDs, electrical components, or finishes
• Experience in bespoke or project-based manufacturing
• CIPS qualification (or working towards)
