Production Shift Manager

£47,000 rising to £50,000 after probation

Due to continued growth, a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Bradford is seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager to join the site leadership team on a permanent night shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where operational excellence, people leadership, and continuous improvement are key.

As Shift Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading production operations on nights, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved. You will provide strong leadership to frontline teams while driving performance and maintaining high operational standards.

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams to achieve KPIs
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and food safety standards
• Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage labour, performance, and absence
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality and Planning
• Deliver operational targets in line with business objectives

• Proven experience in a Production / Shift Management role within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Good understanding of H&S, food safety and quality standards
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving
