Client Details

Description
Key responsibilities
Lead, develop and manage a packing department of approximately 40 operatives.
Drive improvements across productivity, labour utilisation, workflow, KPIs, waste reduction and quality standards.
Implement enhanced packing processes, systems and performance management structures.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
Work closely with Production, Transport and Senior Management to optimise output and efficiency.
Maintain high visibility on the factory floor with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
Identify training needs and support skills development across the team.
Foster a high‑performance culture with clear accountability and consistent standards.
Profile
The successful candidate
Experienced in managing large teams (30+), ideally within production/warehousing within FMCG.
Proven track record of improving departmental performance and delivering measurable results.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with confidence in handling performance issues.
Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a hands‑on management style.
KPI‑driven, resilient and able to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
A strong communicator who can build engagement and high‑performing teams.
