This exciting permanent role is located at our Bradford Office and offers hybrid working (3 days office/2 home) offering 37.5 hours.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Buyer. This role is crucial to the procurement team, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective procurement of raw and finished materials to meet production and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, resolving stock shortages, and developing strong supplier relationships. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in procurement and supply chain management.

Your Journey (qualifications & skills)

Resolve stock shortages promptly to support uninterrupted production, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, enhancing our supply chain reliability and fostering long‑term partnerships that align with our growth strategy. This includes regular communication, performance reviews, and collaboration on improvement initiatives.

Generate and expedite purchase orders to meet MRP and forward demands, ensuring alignment with business needs and minimizing delays in production.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Experience of SAP, Coupa and Ecovadis platforms preferred
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
