Trainee Laser Cutting Operative - Temp to Perm

Location: Bradford
Pay Rate: 12.71 - 15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Bradford, is currently recruiting for a Trainee Laser Cutting Operative on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to establish a long-term career within the engineering and manufacturing sector. Full training will be provided, although applicants must have previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial environment.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the operation of laser cutting machinery

• Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials

• Monitoring production runs and ensuring quality standards are met

• Reading and following job sheets and production instructions

• Carrying out basic quality inspections

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or industrial environment

• A willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Good attention to detail

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Benefits:
