P.E.C. is a growing commercial fit-out, refurbishment and specialist joinery contractor delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner with a minimum of 5 years' workshop experience to join our expanding team.

The RoleWorking within our workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture and timber products for a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
You'll be working alongside a skilled team where quality, precision and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture and timber products to an exceptional standard.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and specifications accurately.
- Measure, machine, cut and assemble timber components with precision.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including:
- Panel saws
- Spindle moulders
- Edge banders
- Routers
- Sanders
- Drills
- Carry out finishing, fitting and quality inspections before dispatch.
- Assist with on-site installation when required.
- Work closely with Project Managers and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
- Minimum 5 years' proven Bench Joinery experience.
- Level 3 Joinery qualification.
- Own hand tools.
- Ability to work independently from technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Strong understanding of traditional and modern joinery techniques.
- Experience operating woodworking machinery safely.
- Good knowledge of timber materials and construction methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
- Commercial fit-out or shopfitting.
- Working with laminates, veneers, Corian or solid surface materials.
- Site installation experience.
