Fututre are recruiting for an experienced Hydraulics Fitter to join a well-known and established manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter with strong hydraulic experience to join a reputable manufacturer offering a professional working environment, varied hands‑on work and the opportunity to become part of an experienced engineering team.
As a Hydraulics Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation and testing of hydraulic systems and components used within the company’s manufactured equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:- Fitting and assembling hydraulic components, systems and associated equipment
- Installing hydraulic hoses, pipes, valves, pumps, cylinders and related components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical specifications
- Building and connecting hydraulic systems in accordance with manufacturing requirements
- Testing completed hydraulic assemblies and identifying faults or leaks
- Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic and mechanical issues
- Carrying out adjustments, repairs and component replacement where required
- Ensuring completed work meets the company’s quality and safety standards
- Working closely with engineering, production and quality teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Previous experience as a Hydraulics Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Fitter or similar
- Good practical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
- Experience fitting hydraulic hoses, pumps, valves and cylinders
- The ability to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics
- Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- A strong approach to quality and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant engineering, mechanical or hydraulic qualifications would be advantageous, although candidates with strong practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
Salary: £34000 – £41000/annum + Benefits
