We are currently searching for a reliable safety-focused production operative to join our team in Bradford.
In this role you will be primarily based in our yard, operating a forklift to safely load and unload commercial delivery wagons. If you enjoy active, hands-on work and are comfortable working outdoors, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities include:
* ** Loading & Unloading:
** Safely load, unload, and manoeuvre stock across 26- to 44-tonne wagons and trailers.
* ** Yard & Forklift Operations:
** Operate an FLT to move stock and heavy cylinders (up to 2 tonnes per lift) throughout the outdoor yard and warehouse.
* ** Compliance & Reporting:
** Complete daily vehicle/equipment check sheets (FTA sheets), report defects promptly
* ** Health and Safety:
** Conform to and enforce the Company Safety, Health and Environment Policy at all times, and follow SOPs## Are you a MATCH?
We are looking for:
* ** Forklift
Experience:
** Prior experience operating a counterbalance forklift is beneficial, but training can be provided.
* ** Manual Handling:
** An ability to safely move heavy cylinders around the yard (training provided)
* ** Work Environment:
** Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in a fast-paced yard
* ** Safety & Detail:
** Strong commitment to site health and safety rules, with clear communication and basic paperwork accuracy.
* Strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a team environment
