We are partnering with a growing ecommerce retail brand that is looking to bring a Social Media Manager into their UK marketing team. This is a brilliant role for someone who lives and breathes social, understands how to turn ideas into engaging content, and wants the freedom to shape a brand’s presence across key platforms.

This business has a strong heritage but operates with a very modern, digital first mindset. The culture is supportive, collaborative and fast moving, and they are keen to meet someone who enjoys being hands on, brings fresh ideas, and isn’t afraid to test new approaches.

You will sit within the marketing team and work closely with both UK stakeholders and international colleagues, giving you plenty of exposure and the chance to influence wider campaigns.

What you will be doing:

You will take the lead on all things social for the UK market, making sure channels feel current, creative and commercially effective.

Day to day, that could look like planning upcoming content, reacting to trends, creating short form video, reviewing performance, or partnering with influencers to extend reach. This is not a role where you simply schedule posts, they want someone who thinks strategically but is equally happy rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck into content creation.

You will also play a key role in bringing campaigns to life on social, supporting launches and brand moments, and capturing content at events when needed.

What they are hoping to see:
  • Around 2+ years’ experience in a social media
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok and what performs well on each
  • Experience creating content rather than purely managing agencies
  • Ideally a background within retail, fashion, beauty or another consumer led brand
  • A good eye for detail and natural creative flair
  • Confidence using insights to guide decisions rather than relying on guesswork
  • Someone organised, proactive and comfortable managing their own workload
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a wider team
  • Editing skills are a bonus, but mindset and creativity matter far more here.
