Marketing Executive (FTC)

We’re looking for a creative, organised and digitally confident Marketing Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) and help deliver marketing activity across our recruitment and training brands.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering digital marketing, content, campaigns, brand activity and events. As a Marketing Executive, you’ll work across both business and consumer audiences, gaining broad experience while progressively taking ownership of your own projects.

The Role

Working with colleagues across the Marketing team, the Marketing Executive will help plan and deliver a varied mix of activity across digital and traditional channels, with both B2B and B2C audiences. This will include content creation, social media, email marketing, website updates, paid campaigns, printed materials and support for events. You’ll contribute ideas, coordinate activity and use results and feedback to improve future campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Campaigns and content

* Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels

* Create engaging written, visual and video content for different business and consumer audiences

* Help produce campaign materials, including digital content, presentations, brochures, posters and other marketing collateral

* Coordinate activity to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule

Digital marketing

* Update and improve website content, with consideration for user experience, conversion, SEO and emerging AI search

* Support paid search, paid social and organic social media activity, working with colleagues and agency partners where appropriate

* Build and deliver targeted email marketing campaigns

Brand and events

* Help maintain a consistent and professional brand across marketing materials and communications

* Support the planning, promotion and delivery of company events, exhibitions and internal marketing activities

Data & Optimisation

* Monitor key metrics and use data insights to improve results

* Report on outcomes, key learning and recommended next steps

Working with others

* Work closely with colleagues across the business and with external agency and supplier partners

* Support the wider Driver Hire network with marketing activity, resources and best-practice guidance

* Share ideas, findings and useful learning with the Marketing team and wider business

About You

Essential

Creative, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt content for different channels and audiences. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Commercially minded, curious and analytical, with a strong ability to use data to improve performance. Proactive, collaborative and keen to learn, with a positive approach to developing new skills and contributing to team success.

Desirable

One year’s experience working across a range of marketing programmes, with knowledge of PPC advertising, paid social and SEO. Experience using CMS platforms and email marketing tools, alongside familiarity with AI tools and their application within marketing workflows. A degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
