Registered Veterinary Nurse

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, welcoming team at Bradford Vets for Pets, a busy small animal practice.

Our purpose-built, fully equipped surgery allows us to deliver high standards of clinical care, and you will be supported by a close-knit and collaborative team comprising 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurses, a Practice Manager, and 4 Client Care Advisors.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to fully utilise your nursing skills, including patient admissions, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with surgical procedures and recovery, and discharging patients. You will be well supported by our Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses, who assist with patient preparation and theatre turnaround.

To be successful in this role, you will have solid general nursing experience, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic attitude, alongside a genuine passion for animal welfare. Additional desirable attributes include good team player & willing to help cover other team members holiday & other absences.

This is a part-time position, working 21 hours per week on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:45am to 7:15pm.
