We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Technical Co-ordinator to join our Technical team. This is a key role responsible for coordinating technical product launches, managing product specifications, supporting quality systems, and ensuring compliance with customer, legal, and BRC Food Safety requirements.

Working closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers, you'll play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across the site.

As our Senior Technical Co-ordinator, you will:

* Manage raw material specifications and supplier approval systems.

* Maintain supplier documentation, including audit records and certifications.

* Coordinate internal and finished product specifications.

* Ensure specifications are accurate and completed before production.

* Manage technical change control processes.

* Maintain product launch trackers.

* Support new product development with technical documentation.

* Approve pack copy and artwork for legal compliance.

* Maintain customer specification portals.

* Respond promptly to customer portal alerts.

* Support and develop the HACCP system.

* Coordinate food safety audits and documentation.

* Manage calibration schedules and external service providers.

* Oversee microbiological, nutritional, allergen, and chemical testing.

* Coordinate shelf-life assessments and product validation.

* Support BRC Food Safety and Quality Systems.

* Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions.

* Produce monthly quality reports.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

* Analyse customer complaints and identify trends.

* Produce customer KPI reports and scorecards.

* Support implementation of customer and legislative requirements.

* Provide technical support to production teams.

* Manage pest control and allergen management programmes.

* Deputise for the Quality Assurance Manager.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing.

* Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety legislation, and quality systems.

* Experience managing product specifications, customer portals, with excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and IT skills.
