About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving enterprise‑level growth and further strengthening my clients market position. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on converting high‑value commercial opportunities and building long‑term client relationships.

You’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle for both new and existing clients, with an 80/20 focus on new business, selling software solutions and services into corporate and workplace environments. This is a hands‑on, consultative role that’s perfect for someone with a passion for solution selling, complex requirements gathering, and collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities
  • Become an expert in our full suite of products and services
  • Identify, nurture, and close high‑value opportunities
  • Generate outbound prospects while managing inbound enquiries
  • Conduct client meetings, product demos (online and face‑to‑face), and build tailored solution proposals
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Work closely with marketing to nurture a strong, consistent pipeline
  • Support the bid/tender process through relationship‑building and commercial insight
  • Document requirements for enterprise clients and ensure smooth handovers to the implementation team
  • Manage your pipeline and CRM activities in Hub Spot with accuracy and detail
  • Collaborate across the business to deliver on complex requirements

    Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Drive continual improvements in sales initiatives and approach
  • Support long‑term client relationship management and account growth

This is a varied and evolving role within a growing team, offering huge potential to expand your scope and impact.

We’re looking for someone who is commercially driven, highly organised, and passionate about winning new business.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar BDM or full‑cycle sales role
  • A proven track record of self‑generated pipeline creation and consistent quota achievement
  • 2+ years’ industry experience (software, SaaS, digital solutions or similar)
  • Experience selling to corporate/workplace clients
  • Solution selling skills up to C‑level and company owners
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines
  • A growth mindset, resilience, and a genuine desire to succeed
  • Experience with LMS/LXP platforms such as Moodle or Totara is a bonus
  • A demonstrable track record in winning enterprise‑level deals

The role is on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week from the office.
