Cogent Staffing are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our clients team based in Bradford. The role offers the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced sales environment with opportunities for growth.
Work details & salary- Office based, with some flexibility
- Office hours
- £26,500 - £30,000 OTE (depending on experience)
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Manage and develop an existing customer base within the Wholesale team.
- Handle outbound customer communications via telephone and email.
- Drive sales performance to achieve monthly targets and agreed objectives.
- Provide exceptional levels of customer service by building strong relationships.
- Develop a detailed understanding of customer businesses and supply requirements.
- Spot opportunities for growth within existing accounts and support business development activities.
- Deliver face-to-face sales presentations to customers with confidence and clarity.
- Stay informed on competitors and the broader competitive landscape to improve selling effectiveness.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to support ongoing account management.
- Strong sales skills with a proven performance record.
- Self-motivation, drive and hunger to achieve targets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to deliver face-to-face sales presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of customers and competitors.
- Excellent customer relations.
- Team player with a warm and friendly personality.
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office.
- Ideally has experience in the printer/office supplies market.
- An understanding of storage media, data storage technologies, and the wider IT hardware market would be beneficial.
