This is a full-time, on-site New Business Account Manager role based in Bradford. The New Business Account Manager will identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across target markets, using outbound calls, emails, networking, and other sales activities. The role includes managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal creation, pricing, negotiation, and closing. The individual will build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and a strong handover into ongoing account management.
Day-to-day tasks include maintaining an active sales pipeline, updating CRM records, preparing forecasts and reports, and collaborating with internal teams (such as purchasing, operations, and customer service) to ensure a high-quality client experience. The role also involves staying informed about product ranges, market trends, and competitor activity to support strategic sales planning.
- Strong new business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new accounts.
- Proven account management and relationship building abilities to nurture new clients and grow revenue over time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly and handle negotiations confidently.
- Sales experience in B2B environments, ideally within IT consumables, hardware, office products, or related sectors.
- Ability to work to targets, manage a structured sales pipeline, and use CRM tools effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable working on-site in Bradford and collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial.
