- Collaborate with the Principal Social Worker to lead and influence the delivery of high-quality services.
- Support newly qualified social workers and student social workers by providing supervision, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Enhance team performance by assisting the Team Manager in performance metrics and feedback.
- Act as a practice leader, fostering the development of good quality practice through mentoring and training.
- Provide expert consultancy on complex cases and support effective case management.
- Ensure quality assurance by supporting court processes and report writing.
- Drive continuous improvement by leading on audits, practice development projects, and implementing new initiatives.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion while championing the values of the organisation.
Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in social work practices, supported by a professional qualification. You should bring at least four years of post-qualification experience, ideally with involvement in child protection and court proceedings. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills are essential.
