What you will do
  • Provide skilled operational leadership and management of the Intensive Integrated Support Team.
  • Manage and oversee high-risk and complex cases, ensuring effective safeguarding and risk evaluation.
  • Allocate, prioritise, and firmly monitor caseloads within the team to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Chair or oversee multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions, and comprehensive case reviews.
  • Ensure timely and high-standard assessments, plans, and interventions that meet set objectives.
  • Supervise, support, and appraise social workers and practitioners to foster professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory duties, safeguarding procedures, and performance targets.
  • Work closely with partner agencies, including health, police, education, housing, and the voluntary sector.
  • Escalate and adeptly manage critical incidents or safeguarding concerns.
  • Contribute innovatively to service development, policy implementation, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor performance data to drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Support budget and resource management as applicable.
